I see conflict theory throughout the whole Mean Girls movie. In the movie, everyone is separated by race, ability, social class, power, and so on. It is important to take note that with conflict theory comes the balancing out of friends and status quo, which can conclude in tension. The macro level of Mean girls is how everyone treats others, the burn book brought the whole school together as a society to resolve these problems. Having all of the girls confess there problems to the group showed micro level, because they were working through their problems with specific situations.
